It’s been 5 days since the world went dark. You remember where you were. You remember how you felt when you realized the sun wasn’t going to rise. At first it seemed as if the darkness of night had merely overstayed its welcome. You had no idea that it would get darker. Much darker. The moonlight faded slowly over the course of that first “day”, as did the stars. You were soon severed from all satellite communications with still no explanation of this phenomenon. You were left in the dark, so to say. Disconnected from all but your closest neighbors. 

The next day, it began taking people. It lives in the dark or maybe it is the dark. You do not know what it is.  You have your theories but there are only two things you know for sure. It hates the light and it wants you gone. It wants you all gone. So I’d recommend the light. 

Lightless is a parlor LARP for 6-8 players based on the TTRPG Ten Candles. It premiered at a private residence on November 17th 2024.
